RSLC Training Portal offers flexible self-paced and instructor-led online training designed for child care teachers and directors. Complete course modules on your schedule while having opportunities to interact with an instructor through Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other available communication methods.

How It Works
- Register for a course using the Registration form.
- You'll receive an email with your unique Access Code.
- Enter your Access Code in the Login Portal.
- Review the course material, then complete the short assessment — all in one place.
Available Courses
Our courses combine self-paced online learning modules with instructor-led components, designed to support professional development in early childhood education.
Each course includes learning objectives, curriculum content, assessments, and a certificate of successful completion, as applicable.
Training Compliance: Participants should verify that the course and training provider meet their applicable local child-care training requirements.
TRS Annual Training Hour Requirements
Per the Texas Rising Star program, required annual training hours vary by facility type and role, with a portion required to be instructor-led:
